Have you ever wanted to programme an evening of dance? Then you’ve come to the right place! Become part of the creative process and influence the course of the production of ‘À la carte’, the first work by the new Artistic Director of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company Ioannis Mandafounis. The audience will be given a “menu” – or rather a “dance card” – with a choice of scenes. Make your selection from the “performative menu” of the day. ‘À la carte’ consists of numerous longer and shorter scenes which can be performed in different combinations. The ensemble of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company will accept the dramaturgical and rhythmic line determined by the audience with creative enthusiasm and translate it into movement. As a result, each evening will be a unique experience.

These performances take place in co-operation with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company. ‘À la carte’ is a co-production between the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and ++1. ++1 is funded by the City of Geneva, the Canton of Geneva and Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council.
