STAYING WITH: A DANCE-IMAGINATION WORKSHOP

The double bill Outrar (Portuguese for “to become someone else”) finds choreographic answers to questions about identity, foreignness and transformation. Using gestures, characters and changing identities a game develops between joy, nostalgia and yearning for a different place. In the workshop the choreographer and dancer Volmir Cordeiro invites the participants to investigate the process of metamorphosis to the sound of Brazilian rhythms.
