In ‘My Own Little Utopia’, three generations dance and perform – seven people who could walk past each other in the street at any time. Each of them has their own, different way of moving, but they all have big dreams and are trying to achieve their own utopias
Yet here they come together. They share part of the journey – and also what motivates them. They dance together with all their open questions and contradictions: what would you say if, at last, everyone would listen to you? Can I legitimately seek my own happiness while the world is burning around me? And what is worth fighting for? The piece ‘My Own Little Utopia’ is an honest and energy-filled exploration of what it means to grow up alone and with others. An open invitation by all ages to all ages.
