Tanzplattform Rhein-Main is continually working to add to and improve our accessibility. To do this, we rely on feedback. We welcome your comments, suggestions and requests: email@example.com. We welcome your questions and suggestions!
We offer early boarding for various performances. Those who are dependent on a specific seat due to mobility restrictions or other visible or non-visible disabilities can come earlier through early boarding to select a suitable seat. Currently, admission for all performances starts 30 minutes prior to show time and seating is free. Beanbag and wheelchair seating is available at those performances marked on the calendar.
AUDIO DESCRIPTION FOR BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE
For selected performances, we offer audio descriptions and a preceding stage tour - a so-called touch tour - to make them accessible for blind and visually impaired people. The stage space is explored, props and costumes are described. The performers introduce themselves and describe themselves. Audio description via wireless headphones during the performance describes what is happening on stage. This enables blind people and people with visual impairments to access the visual elements of a play: movement, gestures, facial expressions, stage design, costumes and props, among other things, are described. The events with available audio description can be found in the calendar.
Tactile tours include a stage and play introduction suitable for the blind, including fabric samples of the costumes, a walk through the stage setting and a description of the visual elements. The events at which a tactile tour is offered can be found in the calendar.
We offer a pick-up service for blind and visually impaired people from the nearby S-Bahn and subway station Mönchhofstraße (Frankfurt LAB). To make use of the pick-up service, please contact us.
