Venues - Accessibily information
AUDIO DESCRIPTION FOR BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE
For selected performances, we offer audio descriptions and a preceding stage tour - a so-called touch tour - to make them accessible for blind and visually impaired people. The stage space is explored, props and costumes are described. The performers introduce themselves and describe themselves. Audio description via wireless headphones during the performance describes what is happening on stage. This enables blind people and people with visual impairments to access the visual elements of a play: movement, gestures, facial expressions, stage design, costumes and props, among other things, are described.
