What are Content and Sensory Notes?

More Orientation for You

Our festival wants every visitor to experience the performances in a way that feels comfortable and enjoyable. To support this, we provide additional information about the content and the sensory elements of a production. These notes offer orientation and transparency, helping you shape your festival experience according to your own needs.

Content Notes

Content notes are short pieces of information about themes that may appear in a performance – for example, conflicts, intense emotions, or other powerful motifs. They are designed to help you get a sense of the piece in advance and enjoy the performance in a way that feels right for you.

Sensory Notes

We also share information about particular sensory elements within a production – such as bright or flashing lights, loud sounds, or dense visual effects. This allows you to anticipate how strong certain impressions might be and decide whether you would like to prepare for them.

Our Goal

We see these notes as a service that enhances accessibility, self-determination, and comfort. They enable you to make conscious choices about which performances to attend and help you enjoy your festival experience in the best possible way.
